Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort, Parksville

I had a nice holiday at this resort, but there were several issues that I felt detracted from the experience. While the view was beautiful and the unit was clean, the beach access was quite challenging and the service left much to be desired. I wouldn't choose to stay here again given the price point and the overall maintenance issues I encountered.

Overall, my stay had its ups and downs. While the pool area and lobby were nice and the staff was accommodating in moving us to a better room, the initial unit was disappointing due to its size and lack of natural light. The beach access was limited, and the overall value for the price paid didn't quite meet my expectations given the conditions.

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort! The rooms were clean and well-appointed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The central location was fantastic for exploring the island. However, it would have been nice to have some dining options on-site, and the lack of air conditioning in one of the rooms made for an uncomfortable night during the heat.

Sunrise Resort offers a wonderful stay with incredible rooms and excellent service, particularly from Michael at the front desk, who truly made our experience special. The location is stunning, but access to the beach is a bit challenging as it requires jumping down a low wall. Overall, it's a great place to visit with some room for improvement in access and amenities.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the peaceful setting and beach access were lovely, the service and certain room features left a lot to be desired. The staff was accommodating when we requested a room upgrade, which was a nice touch. However, the primary room was quite uncomfortable, lacking basic amenities that one would expect. The facilities, including the hot tub, were not fully operational, which was disappointing.
